Don't think so...At least short term people would still try to sell what they got to get dollars as their currencies continue to collapse (that is Latin America now) But at some point they will all have to rize against dollar as USA goes into deep recession (no new paradigm ahh?)..
Gold is scarce therefore it can't be produced with efficiency of say oil or coffee..thus the costs of production even if low do not matter much , except for lower overhead for mining companies...And France and Germany are in no mood of selling Gold now..
