Could account for yesterday's 1/2 point down - iMAC service problem

Andrew also questioned AAPL's misbehavior yesterday and Gavin Young emailed this Business Week article:

" THE DAY MY iMAC DIED: FROM
MACVANGELISM TO DESPAIR

I'm writing these words on a personal computer -- an Intel/Microsoft model.

That will seem unremarkable unless you read my article in this space last week in which I lauded my new computer, an Apple iMac, as the greatest thing since food. "

The author's real complaint is with the iMAC telephone service reps but its worded to sound like the iMAC is a "paper weight" .

My DOS centavos on the markets history: buy good company "growth" stocks , of which AAPL and IBM come to mind .

The 19872 - 80 period was a unusual USA economic period. The causes for it preceded that period and were unique to it from 1963 onward.

Today's "concerns" have made investing a little tricky but the key element for a good return is "growth" .

Jim K.
