Greg, thanks for the reply on what you meant by "The real money is made on the first half". I understand you using a charting technique such as Impathique to detect a trend change in IBM, and making money by buying into the new trend as it starts. However making most of the money in the the first half of a trend implies that it is easier to detect the start of the trend than the end. Isn't detecting the end of a trend the same as detecting the start of the next trend.
