Thanks for the Feb 9 article. I believe John Spooner was the editor who rushed to publish negative comments about ULBI's battery burning a hole in Mitsubishi's keyboard. It later turned out to be faulty charging circuitry or something not related to the battery.

It is also clear that Valence has taken little time to speak with magazine editors etc. who write about companies they can more easily acquire information from. I doubt, for example, that most of these editors listened to Valence's conf. call or heard Lev's comments about any competitor obsoleting them - that the best chance of being obsoleted is by their own next version, etc.

I am not aware of any competitor ahead of Valence with LiPolymer in either performance or capability of volume production for cellphone or laptop applications. As you pointed out, the article illustrated the depth of skepticism for the product. When success is demonstrated, which should be soon, I would expect Valence stock price to react accordingly.
