Do you, or anyone else on this thread, know about the percentage of business from different OEMs. I have heard through a friend who works for one of the top box makers, that WDC's largest account is GTW, and followed by CPQ and possibly AAPL. They are doing very little, if any business with DELL. How about HP & IBM? Do you know? Where can I get this information? Why did they drop out of the portable business? Any chance of getting back in to it? Or it is just technically so advanced that only companies such as IBM, Toshiba & Fujitsu can spend that much money on R & D to maintain their positions within this market segment. Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. I just read that Crazy Jimmy Crammer likes the HDD market segment and is buying WDC & SEG. I hope that is a good sign that things may turn around for this beaten down segment. No news of any consolidation yet? We need to have a couple of these guys merge!!!
