DONT make Fourier another wonder weapon or have somebody make you believe it is / it can be. It's a beautiful tool for predictable things like tide analysis etc - and matematicians (starting with Weiestrass and Kantor and such) could show you it can even be used in market research. Funny though the biggies have never thought of it - or maybe it isn't funny after all (g)? DJ
