Maybe you are not thinking about the "cost" in the right way. Even if you only did 3 or 4 trades in a month, MBT (which I use; can't speak for others) will most likely be cost effective for this reason:
On each trade that you do, you are more likely to make more money each way because of the speed of execution. Just say you execute 1/16 sooner than you would have with a discount online broker. You've more than covered the cost of the trade right there, and with enough trades, you then get your LevelII feed gratis.
