In defense of the occasional foray into world politics, however obscure, most people recognize the importance of international events like Clinton's crisis and the the Afghanistan situation to the gold price, as has been recognized and alluded to many time recently in the conventional media. If we are held to standards of always predicating a connection in a declamatory way it will force a rather jejune form of discourse. Is there not some middle ground? I recognize in the heat of debate we will always get people trying to remove the other's right to speak.
