I do not have to recite the news event and reports of the last 9 months in order to state that Starr is under investigation for his news leaks and that he has a right wing republican bias in his investigation. He can not investigate the "foreign campaign contribution issue" because his law firm is a registered agent of the People Republic of China. He is known to be associated with Richard Scaiffe a wealthy Clinton hater. For those who want more details simply do a yahoo search on "Starr" "Scaiffe" etc. and a wealth of information will be available for you to plumb the depths of this attempt to depose a sitting president. Many people feel that this whole investigation was a witch hunt and that it was backed by wealthy special interest groups. I do not have 50,000,000 dollars to investigate Starr. Starr was unable to come up with anything on Clinton in Whitewater, travelgate, etc. He finally had to resort investigating his private sex life. The publication of this report containing salacious representation of the sex incidents is in itself an attempt at a political hatchet job. He has lied about his impartiality to the American people. It is well known that he has gone on the speech circuit with his anti Clinton speeches. If Starr agreed to have his own personal sex act described to the level of detail contained in the report they would appear just as salacious. Descriptions of sex whether in novels or court reports or in Playboy arouse a lot of prurient interest. Starr knew this when he dumped his report on congress. He has a weak case and hopes to carry the day by use of prurient material. There is a special place in Hell reserved for hypocritical people like Starr who make their careers on top of the ruined lifes of the people they investigate. While I do not condone Clinton's sexual escapades in the Whitehouse, it is clear that the matter does not rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors. I can not for example understand why he would risk his situation on Lewinsky. But then I am not under the same pressures as Clinton. It is also clear that Lewisky was the agressor in the matter of sex escapades.Bad personal judgement. Whether you consider this matter moral or immoral depends on your particular religious bias and upbringing. Some religions do not consider this kind of behavior immoral. Certainly, the only victims here appear to be Starr's witnesses. He threatened, intimidated and actually even jailed some of them for not telling him what he wanted to hear. This is real "abuse of power." But you have heard all this news, just as I have. You simply chose to discard any information that does not support your bias. P.S.: I did not vote for Clinton in either election. If you wish to respond please do so via private email so. I have responded to your publc posting but I am not going to post on this matter publicly again unless i think it neccessary to do so.
