"With gold generally below most
companies cost of production, is there any reason that the
larger companies would want to be shopping--is that the
reason for looking into the Juniors? "

The reason I am looking into the JRs and wanting to rank them on the criteria established is: that gold is below (for some comapanies)the cost of production. There are major companies in the US that have recently reported mining gold at $130 per oz. IMO it is those JRs that have the best proven reserves at the lowest cost of production that have the greatest chance of securing a deal with one of the majors should they choose to move in that direction.

At this point in time I am interested in ranking US & CA companies but perhaps will extend it to other countries in the future. By ranking the companies on the established criteria I hope to find those worthy of further DD. I am looking to find the cream of the crop of JRs.
