Maybe I should have said "polite." I admit I was very busy when the Gore funding scandal came down and did not follow every news report closely. And I tend to be a little cynical about Republicans who, after fighting every campaign spending reform bill for the past 10-20 years (and every women's rights bill) use the very issues they opposed to go after Clinton and Gore. It's kind of like conservatives criticizing Hillary for making money on futures. Give me a break.
