The above data will be attainable if the article of CBS is true which I believe there's no doubt.

Let's hope so, but it seems overly optimistic if the following data is true, cribbed from MacNN today at macnn.com :

1. 266-MHz AIO G3 machines are not available BTO for Education customers
2. iMacs and PowerBooks are not available BTO at the AppleStore (expected Oct. 1st)
3. PowerBook DVD Video Kits and 300-MHz PowerBook G3s are very constrained are not expected until next quarter
4. 300-MHz desktops are constrained and resellers are having a hard time keeping 300-MHz minitower configs in stock
5. 333-MHz mintowers are very scarce and machines at the AppleStore are not available in 333-MHz configurations--either BTO or pre-configured. (One reader. however, spotted a few 333-MHz models at Fry's in Wilsonville, OR).
6. Apple distributor MicroAge shows no availability of 300- or 333-MHz minitowers.
