look at disney dis in july the short position was 104% of the float it is back down to 35% or so that means 65% of the disney float was
shorted and covered between 7/8 and 8/8
going to get daily price chart to see if price rocketed up during this month of covering or if they covered into a selloff. that means they were short 210 million shares and covered 140 million shares of that, that's a chunk of shares

my guess is chunk of covering was over here
could the 3 for 1 forward split disney had have been the catalyst that triggered the covering?
