You are obviously having a field day with these sordid details as I am sure many are. There are many perverts in this world and in the White House.
I personally hold the man guilty of extreme bad taste! If he wants to be like Jack Kennedy, then he needs to improve in that area. Marilyn Monroe is a far cry from M. Lewinsky, to say the least!
I am certain that the "cigar issue" will be offensive to the Cubans, and while I have no regard for Fidel, it may become a political "hot potatoe (did I spell that right) no, I did not--I must be vice P. material. Beside that, the poor lady must have burned for hours with all the nicotine raviging her genitalia.
One might expect a Rhodes Scholar to have better judgement, but intellect and judgement are freqently separate issues.
Perhaps the Office of President should be replaced with a "Council of Wisdom". The Council would be composed of an odd number of the wisest men in the country willing to serve an extended term of perhaps 10 to 20 years. The "council" whould have all its needs provided by the government. There would be "government concubines" appointed for personal needs and desires, without regard to marital status. Activities of the aforementioned government agents would be classified "Secret above Top Secret" and only declassified after 150 years.
Issues of dispute among the "council" pertaining to who gets which concubine would be determined in "closed session" by the "Supreme Court", and all decisions would be final.
In the event that one appointed to the "council" has a spouse, she would sign a vow of "celib" for the duration of the term, unless summoned by the "wise one", and would focus her attention upon doing good deeds for the country. It is my view that many political wives are predisposed to this, anyway.
Now I know not how it goes in your household, but in mine, I am just to the political right of "Atilla the Hun", and my wife is just a little to the left of "Hillary Clinton". In her view the problem is that "Damn Ken Starr"------How does your wife view this, if you have one?
