Remember Tom that which does not kill us makes us stronger. This applies to the presidency as well. The presidency will come back quickly but there will be changes.

Presidents will have their own private legal counsels from now on. The secret service will be removed from close proximity with the president. Policy decisions will be arrived at in private and without consultations that have been the rule.

The notion that a special prosecutor can investigate the private lives of the executives will send a chill over the executive branch.

A lot of people know the truth and sit back and do nothing. I have seen this so many times that I take it as the rule rather than the exception. I am amazed at the naivette of this thread. Lying and cheating is the rule in business and the government.

The legal system itself is rife with lying cheating and many forms of bribery. To single out the president for attempting to prevnt knowledge of his sexual escapade from getting to his wife and the country does not rise to the level of a threat to the constitution or the nation.

Another fallout of this matter will be the investigation of the personal
sex lives of all members of congress and other government officials.
The media has declared them all to be fair game in this new era of tabloid journalism.

We will survive.
Hypocisy will reach a new peak.
The media will become ever more sleazy.
All personal privacy will be gone.

.....And all of you who called for this ,
will deserve what happens to you.
