This came off the Yahoo thread.

Just learned that Komatsu America is shutting the doors on its
200mm wafer plant in Hillsboro, Oregon. I know several people
that worked there and they knew absolutly nothing was going on
until they were handed pink slips. Sounds like the same thing that
happened at the MEMC plant in Spartanburg, SC.
