>> if i call in my certs in name form
can i still sell up until the actual certs are delivered or is this position in my brokereage account frozen from the moment i request the certs, i will call both dlj and smith barney monday for answers so tell me the truth or say you don't know. <<

I don't know for sure, if you have them in your possession you can sell and you have 3 days to deliver them. I'm not sure how your brokerage would handle a sale if they are in transition. I will tell you that it did no good for the RMILians to order their certs as the stock was halted and not everyone particpated by calling for their certs. I think your problem is the company management, not shorters. IMO, it would be a total waste of your time and your energy to order certs.
