To answer you question, I think ORCL could climb back up to the mid-to-upper 40s in January, but may not stay there, provided there is a continuation of tech rallies driven by INTC etc. But the stock recently has broken a "magic spell" due to less than spectacular eps (didn't meet whisper numbers, probably) and new noises coming from Informix. Even the lowly SYBS scored a punch or two. O

I understand that ORCL is facing good competition in the data warehousing area (a strategic must win for their NCs). Smaller firms such as ARSW and others have come out with cutting edge products.

IMO, I think ORCL will "degenerate" to a quality trading stock in the near term.
