>>all future presidents will be at the mercy of any crackpot or political partisan who thinks they have a case for a lawsuit,<<
this was already solidified by paula jones and has nothing to do with the monica/perjury issue. it is ALREADY a done deal.
>>all you have to do to get someone out of office is spend unlimited funds on investigating them until you finally dig up some dirt.<<
lying under oath is a serious issue and i wish clinton had decided against perjury. clearly, the vast majority of starr's inquisition, if you will, was political. however, starr didn't make him commit this felony. neither did monica. bill did. you or i would be charged. it is time for bill to literally "feel our pain." the pain that a normal citizen goes through when they commit a felony.
mr. clinton's assertion that he sees the definition a certain way is a joke. it is like saying red is blue. be that as it may, though, his obvious perjury was when he affirmed, under oath, that monica's affidavit (you know, the FLASE ONE!) was "absolutely true." and that is a quote.
in that affidavit, monica said there was no sex of any kind. now is oral sex sex? is it a kind of sex? is red, red? it ain't blue. he KNEW that there was a kind of sex between them.
he's sorry, now... for being caught with, well, his pants down - so to speak. ;-)
keep him in office. press for felony perjury charges, though. |
