CCN has changed their name and look! It is now crosswalk.com; the old link still works and will take you there, but that is as far as the old goes...

I really like the new look and design; they have a new logo and the site has a brighter, cheerier feel. I think they are right on target with their goal of building a Christian community on the net. To me the old site had too much of a business venture feel to it...the Didax logo on the front page seemed like money makers in the temple.

I am curios as to when the site changed, did anyone see a press release? Keeping the business side in the background should only go so far :)

crosswalk.com

"What happened to Christian Community Network (CCN)?"

We're glad you asked! Crosswalk.com is the expanded -- and expanding -- version of the old Christian Community Network.

We think crosswalk.com says it all: we're each on a walk, a personal journey, and this name encompasses the central theme of that journey for Christians. Importantly, it also drives home our charter to make a safe pathway for those of us who are embracing this exciting -- but potentially dangerous -- new medium known as the Internet.

Why the change?
When it came time to update our look, we realized a couple of things. First, it was hard to find us. Our URL didn't reflect our name, and we made things even more difficult by shortening everything to CCN. We think crosswalk.com is much simpler and, once you know our name, you can always find us!

Second, we realized that "community" was an important and distinctive element of an even larger purpose. We're here to help Christians safely and effectively use the Web, and we'll continue to offer the best information, resources, products, services, and, yes -- interaction with other Christians -- across the breadth of our lives in ways that enhance our daily spiritual walk.

And, if you can't find what you're looking for here, we'll also help you search and navigate the Web in a way that brings you the best of what's out there -- safely.
