The market did ignore it on Friday. The Japan GDP bombshell became public after the Japanese market closed but before Wall Street opened. So, that is a very bullish sign.

Of course, the market may have been so fascinated by Clinton's crocodile tears that it just ignored the rest of the world. The Japanese market did not yet have an opportunity to react to this confirmation that Japan is now experiencing the worst deflationary spiral since WW II. Perhaps Wall Steet will take another look at it.
