We should get a short term up move in the market, but the Japanese economic problems mentioned in your post are very real, and loom on the horizon... We'll probably see a Dow rally to the 8100 - 8300 area... If it dies there we may retest the 7400 - 7500 area... If that fails, we have the 7100 area as final support prior to a drop into the low 6000's...

The current rally is very important... It will be reflective of Japan, Russia, Brazil, and Clinton happenings... The wild card is the possible FED rate cut... Would its impact be strong enough to overpower bad news in any of the happenings listed above??? We'll know in the next few weeks... For now we should be able to enjoy a short term rally...
