Hey, isn't NT5 supposed to be Cairo, sort of? I had a wise guy line on that one too, next year in Cairo, too bad about that wrong turn at the Red Sea, on the road to the promised land. Why anyone would want to name an OS after a third-world, uh, city on the brink of collapse is beyond me. What next, NT6= Lagos? The Microsoft secretary of symbolism slips up sometimes.

On a more serious note, now that Windows 98 is officially the end of the line, what and when is the "consumer" version of NT supposed to be? Another post-NT5 thing? Or will there be a Windows over WinCE?

Cheers, Dan
