Hi Steve ..

Just read something over on the Princeton site that I'd overlooked before.

Phase II of the Big Bang goes into effect 1/1/99.

Going to put in a order to shift the entire 401K from cash to Bond Fund of America.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

What we see ahead is another leg of net capital concentration within the core economy - namely the United States. As deregulation of the trust funds approaches in Japan at year-end, suddenly $9 trillion worth of capital becomes free to go out and explore the world. According to our clients in Japan, a portion of EVERY portfolio we know of will be diversified out of yen into primarily US dollar assets. The lowest amount of diversification we have been told is 15% while the maximum appears to be 33%. Assuming the minimum 15%, this represents about $1.2 trillion. We believe that the bulk of that capital will tend to move toward fixed income with perhaps at best 10% into equity markets. This will have a major impact upon the US economy and indeed the world going into 1999.

DJ .. you were quite correct about the Japanese just running the presses.
