Dave, I have a similar collection of articles 2 feet thick on dell. I am just beginning my researdh on tlab. Your post last week very helpful. I have 2 questions: 1. Can you explain to me in laymen's languague what the products are that Tellabs produces. I finally comprehended what a router, and a switch ,etc. were in regard to Cisco's products. what are TLab's products? Where do they reside? In my home? In the street? You see what I'm driving at. Again, I'm very early on in my research. FYI you may find this site informative. whatis.com 2. Do you still have confidence in Tlab's management? If so , why? what's so great about their track record? after all they sought to acquire a company that turned out to be worth only half what they thought it was?/ And is the illness of one of the top men a big negative? Berkshire Hathaway without warren buffett would be quite different at least in how the market perceives it. all the best jhg
