What I meant was that I no longer do scans in WOW, but rather in QP instead. WOW is still my charting program. All the scans I do in QP are output to virtual files so I can view them in WOW.

I also keep all symbols in virtual files (as I believe you do) for those times I want to view something in one of my WOW templates. I don't use this feature as much as I thought I would, but it's still worth keeping.

I think I'm doing about the same thing you are vis a vis scanning. I only run a couple of scans nightly and they output to dirs that I can go scrutinize in WOW. When I get tired of them, I dump 'em.
