Stefan, frankly I was surprised to see that AVEI closed under $43 as I sold it in the morning at 43 3/4 and wanted my profits before going into the weekend. After the market went down and then up to 100 and then fallen back to 30 or so I decided it was a good time to watch as I also cleared most of my positions before the weekend. If the market and continue to take Clinton in stride then I'll try to go back and pick up AVEI again under $43.
I suspect that a number of people took some profits in the afternoon, including AVEI. I'd really like to see it just under $41 again, but it probably won't get there.
I am really looking for a rebound (along with Henry and Jerry Favors) to the 8100 area but if there is a serious outcry from the public (I'd be very surprised) it could take the market back down for another 7400 test in a heart beat (I'd rather see than 8100 on to 6000 as some are calling for - ouch and double ouch).
AVEI does have resistance at 44 3/4 and failing to get through that may also concern some investors. Monday is a key day and I am happy to start mostly in cash. Watch for my note in the am when I see the futures (poormans.com and message board) for the 8:15 "swag for the day". <G>
