Thomas,

The ODDS system primarily works on probabilities derived from Black-Scholes pricing, especially volatility. This lends itself really well to trading option spreads, including index spreads. However, the main drawback that I have found is a difficulty in finding markets in which to trade using his system. It seems in order to get a trade for instance on an index spread to have a 90% probability it is hard to find strike prices far enough out to warrant that ranking...

I have not traded nor even paper traded with the system yet, though it still holds a major affinity for me, since it concentrates primarily on money management along with high probability trades. I have the software too, which I would only recommend if you are uncomfortable with statistics or just plain desire the ease with which it works which is considerable. Still...my only problem with the system is an inability to find appropriate trades.

I recently signed up for Fishback's ODDS seminar which will be held in Seattle on November 21-22. After speaking with his organization, I confirmed that the seminar would teach us how to locate the tradeable markets and the trades. This is what I want more than anything. No reliance on a tout sheet or newsletter...but a proven strategy (which I believe Fishback has) with a knowledge of how to implement the strategy by finding strategy appropriate trades.

What books/courses did you get for your money. The video and odds book I purchased was something like $79.00 plus is $14.95 option for beginners book. Does he have another book I'm not aware of?

Sorry, I can't give you any percentages or trading history with his system. Perhaps I can help more when I get back from the Seminar in November.
