dc, give it a rest. everyone knows that "doing a good job as President" is simply a gauge on the economy-rightly or wrongly, the public places responsibility for the economy squarely on the President's lap.

As for your CNN poll--who cares. The MSNBC poll, which probably has *far* more respondents, shows 81% think he should be impeached.

As for your "backlash against adulterers". ??? the incidents you cite have nothing to do with PERJURY, which is the most common form of obstruction of justice.

Just because Bill Clinton had no regard for the authority of a U.S. District Court Judge, doesn't mean that you are obliged to make excuses for that -- but nonetheless, at least we all now know where you stand on that issue of respecting the decisions of a duly authorized federal judge. I guess you also would have no problem with telling the judge to kiss your a$$.
