I read a month of postings on Adobe, including yours of 8/13/98 where you wrote that you bought QuarkXpress 2.0 when it first came out, eventhough you grew up on Adobe's Illustrator 1.0 through 7.0. I would like to know 1) what made you switch from PageMaker, 2) how satisfied are you with QuarkXpress now, 3) would you switch back to an Adobe product in the future?

Someone expressed the view elsewhere on this thread that page layout, drawing, and image manipulation should all be bundled together in the same software package. Since you opted to go to Quark Pagemaker, I wonder how you feel now about working with software packages from two different vendors.

Lastly, do you presently feel a pressing need to upgrade anything you use, and are you presently aware of specific feature shortcomings in either Kwark's or Adobe's product offerings? Do you feel that Adobe can retake some market share from Quark?

Many thanks for you professional insights...JPC
