With all due respect(and you know I mean that) , gods ways may be above us, but in no way, shape or form, is slavery ever correct or the highest path. Yes it is people who enslave other people. However, if Gods words ever came down in regards to slavery and it was anything other than STOP!, I wold not believe them to be God's words
Anything other than that is condoning it. If God were to theoretically make rules regarding slavery, that is, in effect, saying it is okay if you follow those rules. I am NOT saying I know better than god. I AM saying that no god that I would ever follow would condone slavery, or claim it to be the highest path. I cant believe that god wouldnt condone and even be happy that we question anyone or anything that says any form of slavery is okay under any circumstances.
