Tava Technologies: Plant Y2K White Paper zdnet.com This is an excellent resource for plant managers and manufacturing executives needing not just a briefing, but common ground for discussing the Y2K problem. Produced by Tava Technologies Inc., a systems integration firm, it is packed with specific information about when and how the bug might strike on the factory floor. Fortunately, because factory automation systems don't "look ahead" very far, they will probably not experience date-related errors until very close to Jan. 1, 2000. This means that, with some research, Y2K problems are susceptible to prediction. An invaluable read.
