Phew, made it through the lot! Excellent stuff Dougjn. You win. The idea that a written constitution doesn't mean anything because the authors aren't around anymore to say what they meant is to argue that language is meaningless. To say Congress has an arbitrary power to dispose of the President is absurd - the idea that impeachable is what they say is impeachable.
Getting to the bottom line, Qualcomm can't lose out of this. If Clinton stays, fine, and Al Gore, Qualcomm's pal, probably wins the next election. If Clinton goes, Al Gore becomes the president straight away, which is fine. I quite like boring people like Irwin Jacobs and Al Gore [not that I think either boring, I'm just quoting others opinions].
Either way, Qualcomm is in a good position to continue to glory.
Alan Green$pan is apparently an interest rate hawk? Fair enough, but I think he should be impeached because I heard he had a few pecadilloes and hasn't reduced interest rates as I'd like him to. How about setting Ken Starr onto him. I bet Starr can rake up some muck if he can go back 40 years, spend $50m and set a trap or two.
Hawk or not, Green$pan is not stupid, nor are his advisers and they will not want to preside over a spiralling collapse into oblivion. They'll print sooner rather than later. First talking the book - already done, then tickling the market a little if the warning doesn't do the trick. He has got a LOT of room to move.
Okay, weekend over. Qualcomm has all good news - other than a share in the Zenit shambles. Let's see where the Big Dipper is heading!
