Thanks, Gerry, I was about to post a similar address.
I had www3.theatlantic.com
For those who are interested, the article is in three parts. Larry's cited material and the quotes by Mr. Stefik are in part 2. Read as a whole, the article certainly suggests there will be considerable conflict and uncertainty on intellectual, commercial, and political fronts.
Nevertheless, though WAVX is not mentioned, the c-chip (with "c" circled as in the copyright symbol) sounds very similar to our WaveMeter. The article, though, comes nowhere close to saying the industry intends to soon introduce either a c-chip or, more specifically, the WaveMeter as the c-chip.
Who knows. Do you, Gerry? Is this what your predictions are all about--the WaveMeter to be introduced as the mechanism to protect copyright on the internet? Is this what the "forget the metering" is all about? Sadly, three very reputable posters seem to more or less have gotten you in a corner--Jas, Andrew, and Steve Rosenberg--so I don't know what to make of you, frankly. We'll see, I suppose.
