The new term they use for this situation on Court TV is "perjury trap", its where someone is confronted about an issue that everybody lies about (such as extramarital affairs)

You might amend your statement to read ".....about an issue that everyone who is guilty of lies about (such as extramarital affairs)".

The way you say it, you imply that everyone has affairs. And that is the sad, part of Bill Clinton's Presidency: He has redefined what is acceptable. Getting blow jobs while talking on the phone with Congressmen? No biggie.

Enlisting the aid of powerful men in the private sector to find a job for your ex-lover, to "keep her quiet"? No biggie. Give her a job. Have Vernon personally lean on the CEO. Sure. The BJs were pretty satisfying, after all. She was a good intern. Excellent service. Maybe Monica can put that on her resume: Can provide excellent BJs to the top VIPs --- right in their office. Won't even take time from their work: they can take business calls while being serviced.

Great. Aren't you proud of our President? What woman now needs a college degree? It's clear that the way to go is to blow your way to the top. Monica was scorning a United Nations job that Clinton and V.J. said they could get her "like that" - immediately --but she would have no part of it. Wasn't good enough. She was so demanding that she sent a wish list of the acceptable jobs that she wanted handed to her.

The whole situation of the President's moral failings and unrepentent cover-up is a nightmare that is not going to go away -- Clinton reiterated Sunday that he will "Never resign".
