Bob, Sean, any R2 virtuosos,

A couple scan mechanics questions -

1) How would you create a loop using the For--do function (or something else) that will return only one instance of each symbol passed to the output file regardless of how often the conditions were met?; similar to the oft maligned R1 loop implementation.

2) Creating scan profiles, I'm having a problem daisy-chaining a series of 12 to run in a batch where the first scan (a prescan) creates the input for the remaining 11. After trying to directly edit the report profile configuration, placing the scans in the order I intended them to run they still ran alphabetically. Ok, then I changed the name of the first scan (promoting it). That failed too I suspect because of some latency issues in producing the first scan list file; all the remaining scans produce blank output windows.

Other than using a perl script or something outside the mechanics of the program, is there a another coded solution? Wish the W'95 Desktop Properties | Shortcut options were still available to set the sequence.

Thanks for any efforts,

Craig
