Clinton is serving his country now as President and Commander in Chief. I think that qualifies now as his having served time in the military. He has done a good job with 60+% job satisfaction ratings. I think Clinton is an excellent executive and that is how the military is run now, like a business needing a CEO. Clinton is smart enough to know how to delegate. He is an excellent executive and is smarter than most all former Presidents. He is highly able to deal with crisis. I thought he handled the Oklahoma bombing situation superbly. The nation in majority felt that way. If there were a real threat, a real national crisis, I think Clinton could easily and deftly handle it and all of this would be forgotten overnight. If Russia and the Ukraine had a nuclear missle exchange with massive loss of life; do you think we would be continuing to bother with this crap. Congress would drop it overnight. These are political games that are a luxury to play and can only be tolerated in times of great peace and security. How we waste the good times is amazing to me. I'd like to have seen Ken Starr try this with the Republican's in 1943 and see where they would end up.
