Craig, it seemed as if they were recounting the final episode and the fact that it was possible for a viewer to enhance the experience with the interactive features. In other words, I got the impression that back then that show was broadcast in interactive mode. Perhaps they were showcasing the advantages of the television medium since the Emmies are a TV celebration. Yes, I think that was their purpose even though it happened so fast that the purpose wasn't clear.
