It really is amazing to me how stupid this alliance is. Banks/financial services companies consider their DDA customer lists/activity as the crown jewels. I simply cannot forsee Dudley Nigg (or any other retail banker) giving the names, account numbers and payment activity records associated with them to a Citi/Microsoft consortium. It is ludicrous!

Can you imagine the sales advantage just opened for Integrion/CF?

Let's see, number one on the list of reasons NOT TO DO BUSINESS with the Citi/Microsoft/First Data partnership is ....... You really don't want your entire customer base to migrate to Citibanks on-line banking service, do you?

This has got to be viewed as a desparation move, indicative of the fact that MSFDC couldn't put together a viable payment product no matter how hard they tried!
