Anandtech has just posted a review of a TnT overclocked to 125 (from the default of 90). He did this to check out nVidia's claims of being a SLI killer:

anandtech.com

Although this was done with the current drivers and ram, the results show that the TnT is not the SLI killer that was claimed. Anand compared the cost of the TnT ($200) to SLI costs today to say that it may be a good product for the price, but in the 6 months or so until the new .25 TnT is released, I'm sure that V2 boards will come down in price some more. He basically says that waiting 6 months for the increase in fps isn't worth it - choose now. With V2 being the current champ going into xmas, I think that 3dfx will capture even more sales.

And when the faster TnT finally is released (if nVidia is still around by then after ATI and 3dfx steals more of their OEM share) - 3dfx will release their latest product and (if past performance is any measure) - they'll be on top again.
