Holt is indeed a fine company with a marvelous franchise in Ashton cigars and another potentially great one in the wings. I wonder though about the macro-economic factors of the eventual legal reentry of Cuban cigars into the United States, and the possible tiring of the cigar smoking fad among the prosperous young. (I know there is a hard core cigar smoking base of course). Specifically, what is Holt's position or plans when the embargo with Cuba is lifted? And if we are in a bear market isn't that likely to erode the taste for high price cigars?
