Have you all checked out Vaso's new web site? It looks really great. I was just doing a general search on EECP and found it. Very nice. eecp.com Here's another link out of UCSF. Took this note: ADVERSE EFFECTS In studies to date, therapy with EECP has been well tolerated by all patients enrolled. No patient withdrew after enrollment, and there have been no reported complications. Patients should not experience pain during treatment with EECP. Discomfort from the pulsatile movement and pressure on legs and buttocks may be eliminated or minimized through use of suitable protective clothing, such as tights or bicycle pants worn during treatment. wwwcardio.his.ucsf.edu Sure seem like it would be an easy sell to get a patient to try EECP before going into surgery. No pain, easy treatment, reasonable probability of improvement. If only a doctor could make enough money to buy a new swimming pool, as he does with surgery, it would be a great success.
