ALRN.. nice turnaround here. Chart started to look better last Friday. Relative strength was bullish and my Klinger/OBV volume indicators showed ALRN was under Accumulation. I set the resistance at 12 1/4 which it broke through this morning. Looking pretty good.

On Sept. 2, SANM announced it was going to buy ALRN, a smaller circuit board manufacturer with 1997 revenues of $172.4 million. Although Altronrecently agreed to acquire a Hewlett-Packard circuit board facility and showed Q2 revenue growth of$27%, 1997 was not a great year for the company. Revenue growth was under 5% and operating
income fell 17.7%. However, Sanmina will be able to cut out some overhead and take out someindustry capacity with this move, improving Altron's performance somewhat.
