"One trader said Tellabs' statement on the optical networking technology could mean that the company would consider a partnership or merger with a different equipment manufacturer who specialized in that area. " Rumor has it that they'll merge with Osicom by issuing a 1 for 1 stock swap. OK, so I just started that rumor. Nice rumor, I think! But we may have to ask for more if TLAB's stock goes down any more. Another article stated that other large players are also looking to buy or partnership with optical-networking companies. Osicom has a bright future!
