Darrell - With the years of effort inherent in development of an enterprise level O/S, followed by years of 'perfecting it', no way that something like NT will be 'stopgap'. Too many dollars and too many years involved. That is why MVS is still around, because it's 'too reliable' and 'too hard' to replace.... John <gggg>
