To all- Some day.I hope that things quiet down from here on out. Deal with Ciena could not be approved with stockholders, so was dropped. Notice that no fees were made to either side, and they parted as friends that are more knowledgable about each other.
Door is still open for a strategic partnership with Ciena or someone like them. They could use another customer and we could use their products. Wild close today at $37.60, down 16% after Mike hinted we might miss 3rd quarter street estimates by $.01 or 2%,or get about $.46/share. Let's say 1999 net is only $2/per share and not the projected $2.35,, using Tellab's historical ranges of PE you get the following results, (20PE=$40,30PE=$60, and 40PE= $80 per share. Remember that if 3rd 1/4 is $.46/share, that still is up 35% over last year's $.34/share.
Titan and Martis are in 5 th inning of baseball game, with about 3-5 good year's to go with good sales increases. This company is not dead, it just gets a resting period to rethink it's strategic moves.
