He doesn't have any Coastline in his District. >> I live in Illinois and we get a lot more than 26 Gs for the Coast Guard. What coast is Illinois on? Seems like I gotta drive 1,000 miles to find salt water. In Illinois the Coast Guard is in charge of the following waters- Lake Michigan, Illinois River, Mississippi River, Lake Shelbyville, Lake Carlyle and Rend Lake. Shelbyville, Carlyle and Rend are federal flood control lakes.
