<<<Try examining the fate of all people who put someone else above God.>>>
It's true that people shouldn't put anyone before God, but Christians believe that Jesus is God incarnate. When the people were asking Jesus where he got his authority from, He answered Verily, verily I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 This proved to the people that he was making himself out to be the same one that talked to Moses out of the burning bush. Consider the following verses out of Exodus.
And Moses said unto God, behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Due to the peoples lack of faith they picked up stones and intended to stone him to death but he passed right through the midst of them. I'm sure that left them bewildered.
<<<Jesus (Pbuh) is not the only savior mentioned in the Bible. This is another important point. If we compare the KJV and any other version of the Bible, we can see clear manipulation by translators with regards to who is referred to as a "savior." >>>
In the old testament it pointed to a physical deliverance from enemies or catastrophies. Later it developed theological meaning. When Jesus was born and first brought to the temple Simeon and Annas declared that this was the saviour the whole world was waiting for . Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; Luke 2: 28-31
