However, due to ongoing cost savings measures, it is currently anticipated that earnings for the third quarter will approximate current Wall Street expectations. We could all speculate by taking a quote out of context. It's clear the company plans to meet Wall Street expectations, even though they have to cut costs to do it. You're right to say they're warning of lower volume in the near term, but what's to say the just-released employment cuts won't compensate the same way current measures are? i think this conference call will be negative... Since many negatives are already out, what specifically are you expecting? There are many shareholders carrying considerable losses right now -- myself among them --- and your pleasure in hoping the price drops further so you can load up seems unkind at best. Pat
