forgot a few things before posting :)
first, all times are pst (hey, it's in 'Frisco)
second, people were wondering about cpq presentation - they will not;
only boxmakers to talk are dell (earlier today) and sunw (wed morning)
- well, cpq isn't your typical "growth" company anymore :) ... however, if
any leaks/preannouncement were to come out from cpq it would most
probably be during this conf, it's the time when analysts make calls
and pressure for hints; also wed is pc maker pickin' workshop at the
conf
third, dell today was not bad, but not impressive, no surprises/new
ideas on how to keep expanding at the current rate, no frantic orders by
the MMs in attendance, actually stock started to fade after the
presentation while market was still in upswing; this fall may be the time
to finally cash in some of those profits on long dell positions...
